FlowaPalooza at Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark 2022

Get Ready for a Big Splash at FlowaPalooza! 

Are you ready for some EPIC fun in Grand Prairie? It’s time for the 3rd Annual FlowaPalooza Festival brought to you by EpicWaters Indoor Waterpark and Epic Central! This FREE, weekend-long festival, October 7-9, will be filled with carnival games, a circus, tasty food trucks, door prizes, a beer garden (21+) and a BoHo Artisan Market where you can shop local, vintage, handcrafted and fair-trade products at affordable prices. There are also lots of family-friendly activities including wax hands, face painting, rock climbing, a robo surfer, paddle boarding, a trackless train, Zorb ball, yoga and laser tag! Plus, there will be nonstop live music at the GrandLawn and surrounding areas, featuring artists such as Joshua Tree, Metal Ed, Mason Adams Project, Paul Renna, Tejas Brothers, Forgotten Space, Latin Express, Mahogany and Texas Latino! Do we have your attention yet? Be sure to mark your calendars for October 7-9 because FlowaPalooza is sure to be an EPIC family good time! 

Also as part of this event, EpicWaters will be hosting the FlowTour World Championships featuring some of the top surfers from around the world competing for a grand prize of $20,000! Contestants will show off their skills and tricks on the FlowRider, the world’s first and most famous surf-simulating machine. Surf’s up!

Ready To Work Conference  

IndeedÔ is having the first of its five nationwide “Ready To Work” conferences in Grand Prairie at Fire House Gastro Park (321 W. Main St) on October 6-8. This event is designed to best prepare jobseekers by offering sessions on resume writing, interview techniques, dress-for-success, professional headshots and more. Grand Prairie Live! 

The City of Grand Prairie recently became a certified Music Friendly Community, so it’s only right that we celebrate with some live music! On November 17–20, Grand Prairie is hosting four days of Tejano music at different locations around the city. Be sure to catch as many performances as you can. It’ll be an experience that you won’t want to miss!
