This National Travel and Tourism Week, Visit Grand Prairie was honored to receive an official proclamation from the City of Grand Prairie recognizing the impact tourism has on our community. From exciting attractions and local events to hotels, restaurants and family-friendly experiences, tourism helps make Grand Prairie a vibrant place to visit and live.

In 2025, Grand Prairie welcomed more than 15 million visits, with travelers generating $364.6 million in economic impact, supporting more than 3,100 local jobs and contributing $62.3 million in tax revenue. These numbers represent real people discovering Grand Prairie’s attractions, dining at local restaurants, shopping, staying overnight and making memories right here in our city.

We’re incredibly thankful for the support of our city leaders, hospitality partners, attractions and local businesses who help showcase everything Grand Prairie has to offer. Tourism truly is a community effort — and we’re proud to continue welcoming visitors to Grand Prairie.
