Prairie Lights

Prairie Lights is the premier holiday light park in Texas located at Lynn Creek Park on Joe Pool Lake. Upon arriving at the entrance of Prairie Lights, you will be dazzled with 4 million lights set along 2 miles of path. Hundreds of ALL-NEW displays in shapes of all kinds line and arch over the roads. Prairie Lights is a total in-car experience this year. Halfway through you can find drive thru concessions and restrooms. The second half of the drive ends with the very animated light tunnel – the perfect finale to a night you will never forget.

Drive-Thru Light Experience

Upon arriving at the entrance of Prairie Lights, you will be dazzled with 4 million lights set along 2 miles of path. Hundreds of ALL-NEW displays in shapes of all kinds line and arch over the roads.

Holiday Village
Prairie Lights 2022 will feature Holiday Village. At the halfway point, exit your vehicle to enjoy: carnival rides, concessions, photos with Santa, the magical walk-thru forest, and the return of holiday shopping! The second half of the drive ends with the new and improved light tunnel – the perfect finale to a night you will never forget!

Sweets, Eats & Treats
Enjoy a sweet treat, something warm, or traditional carnival favorites at Holiday Village.

Carnival
Be sure to experience a fan favorite of Prairie Lights, the exciting Carnival Rides. Carnival Rides are included with park admission.

Walk-Thru Forest
The Walk-Thru Forest is a Prairie Lights tradition for many visitors. Walk-Thru Forest is included with park admission.

Photos with Santa
Santa Clause is coming to Prairie Lights! He will be at Holiday Village to take photos through December 23. This amenity is an additional fee.

Holiday Vendors
Enjoy shopping holiday vendors as they return to the 2022 Prairie Lights Holiday Village.

Photo Opportunities
Holiday Village is the perfect spot to snap an insta-worthy holiday photo with family & friends!

Prairie Lights Pro Tips

As we near the busiest days for the event, here are a few Prairie Lights Pro Tips:

Arrive early to avoid the long wait. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and some guests line up earlier.
Be sure you have a full tank of gas before arriving in line.
If you purchase tickets online, please download and screenshot your ticket before entering the park. Cell service can be slower on site.
Attend weekdays after Christmas when the event is less crowded. We are open through 12/31.
Purchase a Fast Pass in advance and skip the line.

OPEN EVERY NIGHT THANKSGIVING - NEW YEAR'S EVE AT 6:00 P.M.

GUESTS CAN ENTER THE LINE UNTIL 10:00 P.M. OR ONCE PARK REACHES CAPACITY, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST.

Marked Prairie Lights vehicles will drive to the end of the line at that time. Anyone in line in front of our marked trucks are sure to have the opportunity to enter the park.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early or purchase a fast pass on prime event nights (12/12 – 12/25).
