Next Stop for The Daytripper: Grand Prairie!

Big news for Grand Prairie fans: Chet Garner, the charismatic host of the popular PBS travel TV series The Daytripper, recently wrapped up filming in Grand Prairie for an episode all about our amazing city!

If you're new to the show: The Daytripper is a Lone Star Emmy award-winning travel show, seen across Texas and around the country, that features Chet’s energetic, in-depth explorations of the coolest destinations our state has to offer—from famous attractions to hole-in-the-wall gems—showcasing the culture, food, and hidden adventures that make each town special. Given the one-of-a-kind dining and destinations that Grand Prairie has to offer, it’s no surprise he chose Grand Prairie as the next stop on his journey!

Here’s more exciting news: The Grand Prairie episode will air October 4 as the season premiere of The Daytripper’s brand-new Season 17.
