On Dec. 31, ditch the pajamas and popcorn and upgrade to flip-flops, tropical drinks, and thrilling waterslides at Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark, where families can splash into 2026 during an epic New Year’s Eve celebration featuring more than $10,000 in hourly giveaways and prizes, live entertainment, games, and the waterpark’s signature slides and attractions.

From 1 p.m. to 1 a.m., visitors will enjoy an array of lively, family-friendly programming, including music and duck races in the Rio Grand lazy river, along with a full menu of food and beverage options at the Hungry Wave Cafe — featuring a buffet with a taco salad bar, Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, gourmet pizza, and delectable sweet treats. A highlight of the celebration is an Epic Waters fan-favorite tradition: the Epic Waters Duck Drop, offered multiple times throughout the day so younger guests can enjoy an early countdown before bedtime.

NEW YEAR’S EVE HIGHLIGHTS:

Guests can enjoy a full lineup of festive activities throughout the twelve-hour celebration, including:

Multiple Duck Drops: Count down to 2026 as a giant inflatable duck drops at 3:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and midnight.

Duck Races in the Lazy River: Cheer on your favorites as hundreds of rubber ducks brave the actually-not-so-lazy Rio Grand current in this longstanding Epic Waters tradition.

Hourly Giveaway Drawings and Duck Race Prizes: More than $10,000 in prizes will be awarded throughout the 12-hour celebration, including day passes, annual passes, birthday parties, cabana rentals, elevated VIP experiences complete with hotel stays, and more.

Epic Circus Spectacular: A signature element of the H2O Holidays celebration, the Epic Circus Spectacular brings high-energy entertainment featuring daredevil acts, dazzling musical performances, comedy routines, and jugglers and circus artists of international acclaim. Select performers will appear during the New Year’s Eve celebration, adding thrills and pops of fun throughout the day.

“New Year’s Eve can either be boring if you’re staying home yet again, or stressful when you’re trying to keep everyone entertained,” said Rob Lapinto, General Manager of Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark. “We love giving families a fun and safe destination where they can relax or chase adventure as suits the mood of the minute, in a resort-style environment where they don’t have to worry about the weather or scramble for a plan. With warm water, slides, music, and festive activities all under one roof, the Epic Waters New Year’s Eve party is an out-of-the-ordinary way to end and start the year on a festive and energetic note.”

Know Before You Go:

General admission is $59 per person and includes full access to slides and attractions. Guests may pre-purchase buffet tickets for $35 for adults and $17.50 for kids under 10. VIP cabanas (which make excellent “home bases” for your group), are available for rental but tend to sell out quickly, so early booking is encouraged. Guests should bring their own towels, though the Epic Waters retail shop will be open for anyone who forgets.

Epic Waters is open throughout December, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. For a complete schedule of activities, entertainment, and holiday programming, visit epicwatersgp.com or follow Epic Waters @epicwatersgp.
